Staying Busy

Due to the fact that I do not have a place to live in Charleston until my departure abroad (my lease ended in July), I will be spending the next month of my time living at home back in Beaufort. Upon realizing this, I have been diligently thinking of things to do to take up the time. My family will be going back to school and work, all of my friends are back at school, and it seems like my Chiweenie, Zorro, is my only companion during the next several days.

Here are some of the things I have come up with:
  • Do some crafting (See my Pinterest board)
  • Try out some recipes (See my other Pinterest board)
  • Babysit (need that moolah)
  • Work out daily (I put this on the list not because it is likely but because I figured I don't have anything better to do... we will see.)
  • Finish reading the Fifty Shades trilogy(!)
  • and of course... work on this blog!
Wish us luck!

Welcome!

For those of who who are just tuning in, this is a good place to start!

Welcome to my blog, Sweet Tea Time! My name is Kaitlin and I am a junior studying Hospitality and Tourism Management at the College of Charleston. I grew up in Beaufort, SC which is what I believe to be one of the most charming small towns in the south. I have been surrounded by the southern traditions and the atmosphere of the low country my entire life.

I have put together this blog to keep my family and friends updated on my adventures this semester. I am studying abroad in Nottingham, England which will be a huge leap outside of my comfort zone. Here I plan to post about my travels through Europe, every day happenings and of course, lots and lots of photos!
